    How do I personalize a gift?

    We've made it as simple as possible so you're not spending your afternoon figuring out a gift.

    Here's how it works: find the product you want, enter your personalization details right on the product page (think name, initials, a date, or a custom message), and add it to your cart.

    On many of our products you'll even see a live preview update in real time as you type, so you know exactly what you're getting before you order.

    And before anything gets engraved or printed, our personalization team reviews every order to make sure the details are right. If we have any questions, we'll reach out before we start.

    Three steps. Done. The favorite lady in your life gets something she'll cherish forever.

    Can I see a preview of the personalization before it ships?

    It depends on the product. A lot of our personalized gifts for women include a live preview directly on the product page, as you enter a name, date, or custom message, you'll see exactly how it will look on the finished piece before you order. This works on many of our engraved jewelry boxes, custom glassware, and personalized keepsakes.

    For other items like embroidered gifts or custom-printed products, you simply enter your details and our team takes care of the design.

    No matter which product you choose, every order is personally reviewed by our team before anything gets engraved, embroidered, or printed. If anything looks off or we need to double-check a detail, we'll reach out before production starts.

    So whether you get a live preview or not, your gift is in good hands.

    What if I make a typo or enter the wrong personalization?

    We get it, typos happen to the best of us. As long as you catch it quickly, we can usually fix it. Just email us at support@groovygirlgifts.com as soon as possible after placing your order and we'll do our best to make the correction before your personalized gift goes into production.

    Once an item has been engraved, embroidered, or printed, we aren't able to make changes, so the sooner you reach out, the better. It's always a good idea to double-check your spelling, names, and dates before placing your order (we've seen "Jesica" more times than we can count).

    The good news: our personalization team reviews every engraved keepsake, custom jewelry box, and personalized gift order before production starts. If something looks obviously off — a misspelled name, a date that doesn't seem right, we'll reach out to confirm before we begin.

    Is personalization really free?

    Yes, personalization is completely free on every single order. No upsell at checkout, no "premium engraving" fee, no fine print. The price you see on the product page is the price you pay.

    A lot of personalized gift sites lure you in with a low price and then tack on a customization fee right before you hit purchase. That's not how we do things. Free engraving, free embroidery, free personalization. It's been part of the deal since day one, whether you're ordering one custom jewelry box or a set of personalized wine glasses for your bridesmaids.

    So go ahead and add the name, the date, the inside joke, whatever makes it hers. It's all included.

    How long does delivery take?

    Most orders ship out of our Connecticut office within 1 to 2 business days. From there, delivery time depends on where you're located.

    Customers closer to the Northeast and New York City typically receive their orders faster (2 to 4 days after the order), while those further away can expect a few extra days in transit (3 to 6 days after the order).

    The further you are from Connecticut, the more time you should allow for delivery.

    What is your return policy?

    We want you to love your purchase. If something isn't right, reach out to us within 30 days of your order and we'll do everything we can to make it right.

    Because personalized items are made specifically for you, we're unable to accept returns or exchanges on customized orders. However, if we make an error on your personalization, we will replace the item at no cost to you, no questions asked.

    For non-personalized items, we're happy to accept returns within 30 days as long as the item is unused and in its original packaging.
