This engraved hatchet comes with a stainless steel blade and wood handle.  Each hatchet comes with a nylon sheath to protect its sharp blade.  The head also comes with cut-out wrench holes in the head and a gut hook in the back.  It measures 10.5" total length, blade at 4.5". 

This axe can be easily engraved on the handle and the blade. To enter your engraving please follow the example below when entering the message into the personalization box at the top of the page.

Example:

Handle (Name): STEVE
Blade (message): I love you not because of who you are, but because of who I am when I am with you.

Please note: the custom message that appears below the initials should be limited to 30 words.  The longer the custom message the smaller our engraving team needs to make the font to get it to fit on the axe, and when the font is too small it does not look as good. Here are a few more ideas for the custom message.
